Did You Know?

Did you know we have a new Ladies Only Investing group starting up?  That’s right, their first meeting is tonight, May 6th.  They have some great ideas to get the group started and I’m sure once they all get together they’ll have a ton of fun.  The initial plan is to purchase a house, renovate it and sell it, of course for a profit.  I can’t wait to see their progress.  Maybe we can even get their project manager to blog about their project.

Did you know that our May meeting is going to be all locals talking about deals they are doing right now today?  These are not the same “experts” that you see up there all of the time.  These are some of the members you see seated in the meetings each month right next to you.  They aren’t doing anything different than anyone else except that they are taking action.  Come hear their stories and ask questions of real folks doing deals in New Orleans today.

Did you know that June is going to be a special month?  Not only is it the birthday month of a certain NOREIA board member (me) but Andy Heller will be here for TWO special events.  First, Andy will be our guest speaker at our June 17th meeting.  Then Andy will be back on Saturday June 26th for a special Saturday Seminar at Colonial Country Club.  Andy is famous for making lots of money with bank owned properties.  You won’t want to miss him.

Did you know we have a member forum?  Just click on the Forums tab on the NOREIA home page and you can log in, ask a question, post a reply to a question and generally be in touch with other members.

That’s about enough for now.  I’ll post something after I find out how the ladies group meeting goes tonight.  I have a source inside the meeting as I won’t be there.  I have a feeling they are going hit a home run with this one.
