Then, Andy will be back in town on June 26th for a special Saturday seminar. At the Saturday Seminar you will learn how to “Buy Low, Rent Smart and Sell High”. This is a quote from Andy:

This blog will follow their progress as they form their group, find/fund/fix their house and then sell for a profit. Stay tuned for updates.

Posted by: | CommentsDid you know we have a new Ladies Only Investing group starting up? That’s right, their first meeting is tonight, May 6th. They have some great ideas to get the group started and I’m sure once they all get together they’ll have a ton of fun. The initial plan is to purchase a house, renovate it and sell it, of course for a profit. I can’t wait to see their progress. Maybe we can even get their project manager to blog about their project.
Did you know that our May meeting is going to be all locals talking about deals they are doing right now today? These are not the same “experts” that you see up there all of the time. These are some of the members you see seated in the meetings each month right next to you. They aren’t doing anything different than anyone else except that they are taking action. Come hear their stories and ask questions of real folks doing deals in New Orleans today.
Did you know that June is going to be a special month? Not only is it the birthday month of a certain NOREIA board member (me) but Andy Heller will be here for TWO special events. Andy is famous for making lots of money with bank owned properties. You won’t want to miss him.

Tax Day Meeting
Posted by: | CommentsWe hope you all enjoyed the meeting last night. We also hope you may have learned something or at least you took away a small tidbit you can use in your own investing business. As we saw last night, proper evaluation of property is crucial. You can’t make money if you don’t buy it right.
So what’s on tap for May? Well, stay tuned, I’ll have an update soon but I think you’ll find the speaker relevant and informative for today’s real estate market.
Oh, and check out the “Ladies Only” page. The women are forming a subgroup and they have set the date for their first meeting. They have some big plans and it should be a learning experience for all involved. Who knows, they might even make a little money while they’re at it.
